ALBRICK LLC (CHARLOTTE)- By Consent, the Commission suspended the broker license of Albrick LLC for a period of 12 months, effective June 30, 2026. The Commission then stayed the suspension in its entirety upon certain conditions. The Commission found that Albrick LLC, by and through its Broker-in-Charge, advertised a property for sale without the permission of its true owner.

LANDON ALBRICK (CHARLOTTE) – By Consent, the Commission suspended the broker license of Albrick for a period of 12 months, effective June 30, 2026. The Commission then stayed the suspension in its entirety upon certain conditions. The Commission found that Albrick was contacted by a fraudulent seller who represented himself as a true owner, and asked Albrick to advertise vacant land for sale. Albrick failed to reasonably determine whether this person actually owned the property and ultimately listed the property for sale. The property was sold approximately 4 months later.

ARC REAL ESTATE LLC (GREENSBORO)- By Consent, the Commission suspended the broker license of ARC Real Estate LLC for a period of 12 months, effective May 15, 2026. The Commission then stayed the suspension following a one-month active period upon certain conditions. The Commission found that ARC Real Estate LLC advertised a property for sale without the owners’ written consent.

CHRISTOPHER BABCOCK (EDEN)- The Commission accepted the permanent voluntary surrender of the real estate license of Babcock, effective June 24, 2026. ANDRE COBB (GREENSBORO)- By Consent, the Commission suspended the broker license of Cobb for a period of 12 months, effective May 15, 2026. The Commission then stayed the suspension following a one-month active period upon certain conditions. The Commission found that Cobb advertised a property for sale in Yanceyville, NC. He did not provide the Working With Real Estate Agents publication for review by the sellers, and he did not have a written listing agreement with them. Cobb’s legal last name is “Cobb,” but in his application to the Commission, he certified that his last name was “Cobbs.”

AMAN JAIN (CHARLOTTE) – By Consent, the Commission suspended the broker license of Jain for a period of 5 years, effective June 30, 2026. The Commission then stayed the suspension in its entirety upon certain conditions. The Commission found that Jain represented to his buyer clients that they should place an offer on a home substantially over the listing price because the property already had multiple offers pending, when in fact there were no other offers pending on the home.  The buyers paid more than the listing price for the property.

KATIE PRENDERGAST (ASHEVILLE)- By Consent, the Commission reprimanded Prendergast effective June 24, 2026.  The Commission found that Prendergast represented her seller-client in a residential real estate transaction. A potential buyer made an offer which was accepted by the seller. During the due diligence period of the transaction, the buyer conducted a radon test that found an average radon level of 5.7 pCi/L, and Prendergast was informed of the finding. Subsequently, that potential buyer terminated the contract. Prendergast relisted the property, and a subsequent buyer entered into a purchase agreement for the property. Prendergast failed to disclose the radon test results prior to the offer to purchase; she disclosed them approximately two (2) days after the offer was executed.

DOUGLAS SINCLAIR (NEW BERN)- The Commission accepted the permanent voluntary surrender of the real estate license of Sinclair, effective June 24, 2026. The Commission dismissed, without prejudice, allegations that Sinclair violated the provisions of the Real Estate License Law and Commission Rules. Sinclair neither admitted nor denied misconduct.
